Frozen Free Range Cockerel

The frozen free range Packington Cockerel is a slow reared type of poultry that has been raised in a free-range environment and then frozen for later consumption. We offer fresh free range cockerels at Easter and Christmas.

Known for its succulent and flavourful meat, which is a result of its high-quality diet and free-range lifestyle.

These birds are larger birds, with a weight ranging from 4-6 kg when fully grown. When cooked, the meat is tender and juicy, with a slightly gamy and rich flavour that is perfect for roasting, grilling, or braising. The frozen option allows for easy storage and longer shelf life.

They are certainly the centrepiece of a grand family meal around the dining table, and perfect for Easter or Christmas.

If you’re looking for some inspiration for your leftovers, we’ve teamed up with the lovely Sophie Allport and she has a fab leftovers pie recipe on the website.
